Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our growing metal shop team in Erlanger, KY. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines, interpreting drawings, and producing high-quality formed metal parts. Candidates with strong math skills and press brake experience are encouraged to apply.

Available Schedules: Monday–Friday

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30PM - 7:00AM

Overtime may be available during peak production periods.

Key Responsibilities for Press Brake Operator

• Set up and operate press brake and other metal fabrication equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
• Program and adjust bend dimensions and deductions
• Perform basic math conversions (fractions to decimals)
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
• Make minor machine adjustments and report major issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures
• Support other departments as needed

Qualifications for Press Brake Operator

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of press brake or machine operation experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
• Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, protractor)
• Solid math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Experience with machine setup is a plus
