Press Brake Operator – $25–$28/hr | 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire

CloudRay is hiring a Press Brake Operator for a

manufacturing opportunity in Decatur, AL 35601.

This position includes operating a press brake as well

as Mazak mills/lathes. Hands-on machine setup and

operation are required, not just running equipment

configured by someone else.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings,

selecting tooling, adjusting machine settings, and

inspecting finished parts using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment.

• Read drawings, work orders, and specifications.

• Select and install punches, dies, and tooling.

• Load, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC programs.

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.

• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Maintain quality, safety, production, and documentation standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

• At least 1 year of CNC press brake or similar metal-forming experience.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.

• Experience with precision measuring equipment.

• Basic shop math skills.

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

• Hands-on machine setup and operation are required.

• Candidates must be able to personally perform setup,

not only operate machines configured by someone else

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Pay: $25–$28/hr + overtime
