This is a night shift position, running 6 pm-6 am on a 12 hour rotating schedule
Job Functions:
Responsible for running the press at the targeted production rate while maintaining quality.
Responsible for handling of plant equipment and supplies by themself
Responsible for checking the print quality against all specifications on every load. Adjust the color in the press if needed.
Assists in training press helpers following all established training procedures.
Work as a team with 2nd Pressman within the restrictions and capabilities.
Job Specifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 years' experience in printing press
Ability to read and interpret work orders, proofs and spec sheets.
Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees.
