Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the site's predictive maintenance program.
- Coordinate vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, motor circuit analysis, and other condition-monitoring activities.
- Establish inspection routes and frequencies for critical mining and processing equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition, identify developing failure trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prioritize maintenance needs based on safety, equipment criticality, production, and operational risk.
- Generate work requests and work orders from PdM findings and track completion of corrective work.
- Support root cause failure analysis, reliability-centered maintenance, shutdowns, and planned outages.
- Maintain accurate equipment condition records, databases, reports, and historical information.
- Track and report reliability KPIs, including equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, unplanned downtime, and PdM compliance.
- Conduct field inspections and promote compliance with MSHA regulations, company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased equipment reliability.
- Provide training and support to maintenance personnel regarding predictive maintenance technologies and reliability practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance or reliability experience in mining, mineral processing, aggregate, or heavy industrial operations preferred.
- Experience with predictive maintenance and condition-monitoring technologies.
- Working knowledge of mobile mining equipment and fixed plant processing equipment.
- Experience with CMMS systems such as MaintainX or similar.
- Experience with vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, and rotating equipment diagnostics preferred.
- Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

- Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance and reliability principles.
- Ability to interpret vibration, thermal imaging, and oil analysis reports.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, lubrication, and rotating equipment systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, planning, and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and act on data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work is performed in an active mining and processing environment, including outdoor areas and operating equipment. Exposure may include dust, noise, vibration, varying weather conditions, moving machinery, elevated work areas, and other industrial hazards. Required PPE must be worn at all times as applicable.
Position requires the ability to walk, climb ladders and stairs, access elevated equipment and operational areas, and perform field inspections. Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and perform the essential functions of the position safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
