Schedule: Day Shift (5:00am - 1:30pm M-F) - Beat the traffic, enjoy your afternoons!

Compensation: $20-$28/hour, PTO, 401K, Health, Vision, Dental Benefits

As our Precision Tooling Specialist, you'll be the critical link between cutting-edge CNC technology and flawless production. Your expertise ensures our machinists have the right tools, properly maintained, and optimized, to deliver components that protect lives and advance technology in aerospace and defense applications.

What You'll Do:

Technical Excellence

• Master the art of tool preparation: ordering, stocking, staging, when applicable sharpening, and setting precision cutting tools for advanced CNC operations
• Partner with engineering programmers and machinist operators to develop optimal tooling strategies that maximize efficiency and quality
• Utilize state-of-the-art tool pre-setting and heat shrink equipment to maintain tight tolerances
• Apply your blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge to ensure tooling meets exact specifications

Operational Leadership

• Manage critical tool inventory with a focus on zero-downtime operations
• Implement and maintain 5S standards for world-class organization
• Drive sustainability through carbide recycling programs
• Analyze tool life and performance to maximize value and minimize waste

What Makes You Successful:

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years in precision manufacturing with deep CNC tooling knowledge
• Expert blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Proficiency with tool setting and heat shrink equipment
• Self-directed work style with strong attention to detail
• U.S. Person status which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. (required for defense contracts)
• High school diploma/GED

Preferred Advantages:

• 3+ years in AS9100 aerospace/defense environments
• Experience with carbide and high-performance cutting tools
• Microsoft Excel proficiency for inventory tracking
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement background
