Set up and operate Outer Diameter (OD) and Inner Diameter (ID) grinding machines to achieve precise specifications (e.g., Landis, Studer, Tschudin, Cincinnati, etc.)
Work with various materials, including tool steel and heat-treated alloys.
Read and interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and job orders.
Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges, to perform in-process quality checks and ensure parts meet strict quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues as necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Minimum 3+ years of experience setting up and operating OD/ID grinders (e.g., Landis, Studer, Tschudin, Cincinnati, etc.).
Proven ability to hold tight tolerances and achieve a specified surface finish.
Strong understanding of conventional grinding techniques, wheel selection, and dressing.
Excellent blueprint reading skills, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade school certification is a plus).
Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
