Precision Component Assembly Technicians use small hand tools, power tools and microscopes to assemble medical devices, such as flexible endoscopes. As a Precision Component Assembly Techniciansyou will also perform subassembly. This role delivers superior Customer Experience by providing timely and quality repairs to meet compliance standards, as part of a high performing team.
This role will be based in our Chesterfield, MO Repair Lab, where you will have a dedicated work bench.
No previous medical repair experience required! We will train you.
***Transferable experience may include hands-on repair, assembly, or product testing. Other transferable experience might include small engine repair, cell phone and electronics repair/ testing/ re-builds, carpentry, circuit board assembly/repair, industrial sewing, jewelry repair, maintenance, construction, and automotive repair.
*What you will do:
Performbasic to intermediate level repairs of surgical devices and equipment to specifications.
Identifyproblems and usestandardized testing procedures,examineand testmechanisms for defects, replaceor repairdefective parts.
Troubleshoot, reassemblesurgical devices and tests assembly for conformance to specifications.
Identifyrisks and issues and escalatetimely and effectively.
Adhereto Standard Work Instructions (SWI).Become aware of and conformto Company ISO goals and objectives and supportISO requirements.
Complete workplace organization audits and safety observations per site requirements.
