Richard Childress Racing Manufacturing Solutions is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who takes pride in producing world-class precision components. What You’ll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while working in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities include:

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
Produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and exceptional quality standards.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.
Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting when needed.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area following 5S and company safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and fellow machinists to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
Support AS9100 quality standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a skilled machinist who enjoys precision work, values quality, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (technical school or machining certification preferred)
7+ years of CNC machining experience
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming concepts
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Commitment to producing quality work with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Okuma CNC machines and OSP controls
Multi-axis machining experience
Experience in aerospace, defense, motorsports, or other precision manufacturing industries
Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems
Experience with first article inspections, process travelers, and manufacturing documentation
