We are looking for 1st Shift Powder Painter to support our team at our corporate location in Independence, Kentucky.

SUMMARY:

Manually spray product to customer specification utilizing the provided powder spray system.

Hours: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Deliver a uniform high quality powder finish on product.
• Understand the principals of powder painting.
• Keep the department safe, clean, and organized. 
• Locate and select the powder that is to be sprayed on particular parts (correct part# of the powder)
• Keep an accurate count of powder as it is used and put back into stock.
• Inspect, clean and service the spraying system from the powder hopper, to  the delivery system and the guns.
• Identify and trouble shoot finish problems.
• Clean out and replenish the powder changing from one color to the next.
• Wipe the collection booth down and prep for the next color.
• Empty the collection system and re-box used powder.
• Be able to stay in the same place for extended periods of time to keep the line moving.
