This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As a Portfolio Operations - Project Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient execution of our project portfolio, driving on-time delivery, and fostering collaboration across teams. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for optimizing project operations, we want you on our team. This is an onsite role in Alameda, CA.
What You’ll Work On
Drive cross-functional alignment around the product strategy and roadmap through the portfolio planning cycle.
Lead portfolio execution: Oversee the successful implementation and execution of projects within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Ensure on-time delivery: Executes programs to completion and assures successful market entry or makes a timely recommendation to Management to terminate a program if required by technical, commercial or other developments that may result in project failure if not resolved through creative problem solving.
Verify project dependencies: Assess and manage project dependencies to minimize risks and optimize resource allocation across the portfolio.
Communicate project changes: Effectively communicate project updates, changes, and dependencies to commercial members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and minimize disruptions.
Collaborate with cross-functional project managers: Work closely with cross-functional project managers to identify interdependencies, streamline processes, and enhance project delivery efficiency.
Monitor and report portfolio performance: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure portfolio performance, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, develop best practices, and implement initiatives to enhance portfolio operations and project management processes.
Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including commercial members, project teams, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for portfolio objectives.
Actively champion PMO best practices to drive better project planning, execution, project prioritization and change management within Commercial Programs

The base pay for this position is
$112,000.00 – $224,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
