Pool Cover Technician
Job Description:
Install, remove, repair, and replace a variety of pool covers, including automatic, manual, safety, and solar covers.
Measure pools accurately to ensure proper fit and function of pool covers and hardware.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of pool cover systems, motors, tracks, and anchoring components.
Diagnose mechanical or operational issues and complete repairs using hand and power tools.
Educate customers on proper pool cover operation, care, and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following company safety standards.
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members regarding job progress and service needs.
Skills & Qualifications (optional add-on):
Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge preferred
Experience with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically active environments
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
