Pool Construction Laborer Job Description

A Pool Construction Laborer is responsible for assisting in the installation, construction, renovation, and maintenance of residential and commercial swimming pools. This position involves performing a variety of physical labor tasks at construction sites, including site preparation, excavation, material handling, concrete work and equipment installation. Laborers work closely with project supervisors and skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications.

Key responsibilities include preparing job sites, digging and grading areas for pool installation, mixing and pouring concrete, assisting with the installation of pool walls, liners, plumbing, and filtration systems, and operating hand and power tools. Employees may also load and unload materials, clean work areas, and help maintain equipment and vehicles used on job sites.

Previous construction experience is preferred but not required, as on-the-job training may be provided.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor and lift up to 50-75 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Basic construction or landscaping experience preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred
