Job Title: Metal Worker (Plasma Cutter & Press Brake Operator) 

Location: Littleton, NH

Shift: 4:30 pm - 3:00 am M-TH

Reports to: Foreman 

 

Job Overview: The Metal Worker will operate the plasma cutter and press brake to fabricate metal components according to Rotobec USA’s specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards while cutting, bending, and forming metal materials used in manufacturing. 


 Duties & Responsibilities


Plasma Cutting Responsibilities:

  • Select the correct type of metal for each job based on instructions.
  • Set up and operate the plasma cutting machine—training will be provided!
  • Load and unload metal sheets safely with the help of your team.
  • Follow blueprints and simple instructions to make accurate cuts.
  • Keep the work area and machine clean and well-maintained.

Press Brake Responsibilities:

  • Use the press brake machine to bend and shape metal into parts.
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure precise and high-quality results.
  • Check finished parts against blueprints to make sure they match specifications.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production goals.

General Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate equipment and work with team members to move materials.
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.
  • Accurately complete simple work order paperwork.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturing best practices.
  • Be open to learning new skills; cross-training opportunities are available
  • Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn. 
  • Ability to read and follow basic instructions and blueprints (training available). 
  • Comfortable working with your hands and using tools/machines. 
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with proper technique. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Education

  • Technical degree in a related field or comparable shop experience deemed valid by the employer
