Plumbing Mechanic

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Plumbing Mechanic to handle commercial and residential projects throughout Queens and the surrounding NYC area. You will perform both service work and new installations—ranging from rough-ins and finish piping to fixture setups—working independently and adhering strictly to NYC plumbing codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute rough-in, finish work, and service repairs for water, gas, sanitary, and storm piping systems.

• Install plumbing fixtures and equipment across residential and commercial job sites.

• Read plans/blueprints and ensure all work complies with NYC plumbing codes.

• Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues independently without direct supervision.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of NYC commercial and residential plumbing experience (service + install).

• Technical Knowledge: Strong blueprint reading and NYC DOB code understanding.

• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

• Certifications: OSHA 30 and F-60/G-60 preferred (or willingness to obtain); Journeyman or Master Plumber license is a plus.
