Experienced residential plumber needed ASAP

Daylight shift 7am - 3pm, sometimes 5pm depending on the amount of jobs/ work.

$25-$27/ hour to start, sightly more based on the amount of experience.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fittings, sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters, ensuring proper water distribution and waste disposal. 

• Repair and troubleshooting of leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues, using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults. 

• Reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings to plan installations and modifications. 

• Testing and inspecting plumbing systems to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations. 

• Coordinating with clients and contractors, providing estimates, recommendations, and professional guidance on plumbing solutions. 

• Routine maintenance of plumbing systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components to prevent future issues. 

• Emergency response to urgent plumbing problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

• Technical expertise in plumbing systems, including knowledge of water supply, drainage, heating, and cooling systems. 

• Problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair complex plumbing issues. 

• Manual dexterity and physical stamina for handling tools, cutting and assembling pipes, and working in confined spaces. 

• Client-facing skills for effective communication and relationship-building with customers. 

• Teamwork and independence, as plumbers often work both collaboratively and individually on projects. 

• Certifications and licenses such as City & Guilds in Plumbing, Gas Safe registration, or other relevant qualifications depending on the region. 

• Driving license may be required for site visits and transporting equipment.
