Production Supervisor

We are seeking amotivated and experienced Production Supervisorwith a strong background ininjection molding or blow moldingto oversee daily manufacturing operations for our client on the south side of Indianapolis. In this Direct Hire role, you will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and leading a team of production operators and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff to meet manufacturing schedules and quality standards
• Ensure efficient setup, operation, and troubleshooting of injection molding or blow molding machines
• Monitor production metrics (output, downtime, scrap, efficiency) and implement improvements where necessary
• Enforce company safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Train and develop production team members to enhance performance and growth
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions on production issues
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and ISO or other quality certifications

Requirements:

• 3+ years of supervisory experiencein aplastic manufacturing environmentspecializing ininjection molding or blow molding
• Strong understanding of molding processes, tooling, machinery, and material handling
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours or shifts as required
