We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our clients manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and machinery used in injection molding and blow molding production processes. The ideal candidate will ensure minimal downtime, optimal machine performance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on injection molding and blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems.

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and perform corrective repairs.

  • Conduct setup and teardown of molding machines, including tooling changes, as required.

  • Maintain and repair automation equipment such as conveyors, robotics, and pick-and-place units.

  • Collaborate with production personnel to address and resolve equipment issues quickly to reduce downtime.

  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new machines or equipment.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and spare parts usage in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

  • Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance, safety, and reliability.

  • Respond to emergency breakdowns on a 24/7 basis as needed (on-call rotation may be required).

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with injection molding and/or blow molding equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.

  • Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, HMIs, and other automation controls.

  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools safely and effectively.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
