This position now starts at $25.44.00/hr. or more depending on the amount of experience you have operating a Plasma Cutter.
Weekend Shift: Work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours.

THIS IS A WEEKEND POSITION BUT TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE ON 1ST SHIFT FOR APPROXIMATLY 2 WEEKS. Monday thru Thursday 6:00AM until 4:30PM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Run the beam cut operation that includes a Laser Plasma Cutter and Robotic Weld.
- Knowledge regarding physical properties and welding characteristics of metal, effects of heat, welding shrinkage, welding techniques and allowance for thickness.
- Performs regular maintenance on the machine.
- Programs, downloads and edits console as required.
- Reads prints to determine specifications and accurately complete all required functions.
- Works with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Measures dimensions of work pieces to ensure conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gages, templates, etc.
- Works in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities.
- Follows all safety rules and quality standards.
- Follows all company rules and policies.
- Upholds all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Six (6) months or more of related experience and or specialized training in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Ability to verify the measurement of cut materials.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Must have good communication, organizational, and cross-training skills.
- Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 40lbs with or without accommodations.
