Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plasma cutting machines and brake presses according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve workflow.
• Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or fabrication preferred.
• Proven experience as a Plasma and Brake Press Operator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
