This is a full-time on-site position located in Toppenish, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day one!
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, vendors, and customers - responsible for all plant safety programs.
- Lead and mentor Production Manager and Plant Supervisors and other leaders within the facility to improve safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations.
- Aid internal departments to identify issues affecting safety, efficiency, productivity, food safety, and overall quality of product.
- Partners, leads, and supports projects and initiatives implemented by the technical team and the continuous improvement leader.
- Assist in setting annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets.
- Assist in solving internal and external complaints related to quality, including raw materials.
- Responsible for developing and monitoring facility production budget.
- Set production standards and review production results. Drives standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices.
- Ensures timely completion of preventative maintenance, action items from internal and external audits, continuous improvement projects, and safety initiatives.
- Member of the CAPA team.
- Ensures all employees, visitors, vendors, etc., participate and are responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laid forth in the Food Safety and Quality Manual.
- Supports SQF Practitioner and responsible for Safe Quality Food (SQF) compliance and partners with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on SQF compliance concerns.

- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively in English.
- Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and train employees.
- Strategic vision and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Proficient math skills.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Understand and use basic office equipment and programs.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 5 years management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multiwall field.
- 5 years experience supporting and leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
- 5 years demonstrated ability to create, develop, and lead teams.
