Job Overview:

HyPro is seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead our Rhinelander facility and shape the future of our manufacturing operations. This is a high‑visibility leadership role responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement across the plant.  Essential Job Functions

• Develop and execute plans to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant, including production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and maintenance activities.
 • Manage plant budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare reports on plant performance, including productivity, quality, and safety metrics.
 • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
 • Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency within the plant.
 • Determine personnel requirements, material, facility, tooling, and equipment needs.
 • Lead and motivate team members by providing guidance, mentoring, coaching, and training to ensure the team’s success.
 • Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delays.
 • Ensure the production lines run without interruptions, meet output targets, and exceed product standards.
 • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., quality, engineering, maintenance) to ensure high quality, drive continuous improvement initiatives, solve operational issues, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
 • Responsible for making process, system, and product improvements.
 • Manage plant floor layouts and work cell designs to optimize space, workflow, production values, and safety.
 • Resolve daily issues involving material outages, machine downtime, and operator performance.
 • Ability to influence policies, practices, and procedures.
 • Works with the Director of Manufacturing and Chief Operations Officer to manage the business division’s P&L to meet the company’s profitability and growth targets.
 • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, etc.
 • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.
 • Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
 • Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize production output.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory/management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving goals and objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment and manufacturing processes, including assembly methods, machining, fabrication, and automation.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to drive process improvements and optimization.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office.
