The Plant Manager will direct and manage the aggregate operations for three facilities with overall responsibilities for safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. The position ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for a safe, environmentally sound production of a quality product.

This position will cover three locations.
- North Quarry

- Elkton Quarry

- Thorndale Quarry

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages an aggregates plant/site
• Typically manages foremen and/or lead production employees with multiple teams of hourly production workers
• Ensures annual production and profitability targets are reached
• Has responsibility for the plant/site’s profit and loss (Pandamp;L)
• Develops and manages the budget for own site
• Ensures safety and health policies are followed
• Complies with environmental programs, guidelines and policies
• Complies with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations
• Oversees planning and scheduling activities
• Leads process improvements within own plant/site
• Leads project or planning activities

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Details

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position is $114,000 - $144,000 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position.
