Overview;
The
Plant Manager
will oversee all facets of plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance. This leadership role is critical for driving continuous operational improvements, maximizing productivity, and upholding the company’s reputation for precision and engineered excellence.
Responsibilities;
- Full ownership of all plant operations, including production, scheduling, materials, inventory, shipping, and facility maintenance
- Lead and develop supervisory, administrative, and production teams, including staffing, training, and employee relations
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer, quality, and delivery requirements
- Monitor operational KPIs including throughput, waste, labor efficiency, overhead, and cost control
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
- Oversee quality assurance programs for incoming materials and finished goods
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOL, EEOC, and other regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause problem solving
- Manage installation and start-up of new equipment and process upgrades
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Qualifications and Experience required;
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a plant or operations management role
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Operations, or related field)
- Experience in printing, packaging, or related manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and modern quality assurance practices
- Proven track record implementing continuous improvement and process optimization programs
- Solid understanding of labor, safety, environmental, and employment regulations
- Strong business systems capability (MRP, production planning, inventory control, Microsoft Office)
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
