Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Plant Manager to be responsible for leading and managing all safety efforts at the plant as well as planning, quality control, customer services and maintenance functions. Additional objectives include asset protection, financials, budgeting, cost control, environmental, personnel and community relations. This position will lead the management team and hourly employees for our Bowling Green North location.
Responsibilities:
- Lead safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture.
- Responsible for leading the safety, health, environmental programs, guidelines and policies.
- Lead and develop salary and hourly workforce to create teamwork and drive a safe and productive environment.
- Ensure compliance with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Leads operations to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics.
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of plant activities to include scheduling, production and training activities.
- Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately.
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of all products.
- Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established.
- Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position will be accountable for up to 10 employees.
Work Environment
This job operates frequently in a maintenance and operations environment in a surface mine location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and copier.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.
Required Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7 or more years of related experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Skill Trade Certification(s) are a plus
- Bilingual a plus
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
