Custom Marine is currently hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician in Neenah, WI.


This individual oversees and performs the preventive and proactive maintenance duties required for the manufacturing operations of the plant. Priorities include management and execution of PM schedules, troubleshoot and repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates, maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory and facility housekeeping. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required and also fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance. It is preferred this position works a split 1st/2nd shift or 2nd shift. 2nd shift premium is $4.00/hour for all hours worked.

Candidate must have the following skills / knowledge / experience:
Skills:
  • Keep facilities clean and in good order
  • Repair equipment as needed
  • Maintain records of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment
  • Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic skills including troubleshooting
  • Understand purpose and proper use of small hand and power tools
  • Proper forklift operation and preventative maintenance.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills
  • Inventory management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and communicate to other plant personnel
  • Facility organization through 5S program
  • Working knowledge of PLC’s and other electronic components
  • Basic computer skills
Educational Requirements & Preferred Experience
  • 5-10 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance or Military experience with complex machine maintenance
  • Strong knowledge in electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical processes.
  • Valid drivers license required
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremes
  • Position requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount / dismount industrial equipment and vehicles
