Our client is seeking an experiencedPlant Mechanicto maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a wide range of heavy industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the production and manufacturing of grain-based products by ensuring equipment is reliable, efficient, and compliant with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performpreventative maintenance and emergency repairson production and ancillary equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshootmechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

• Read and interpretblueprints and schematics.

• Operate shop equipment such asdrill press, band saw, bench grinder, etc.

• Performfabrication and weldingusing arc-welding, wire welding, and flame cutting tools.

• Maintain and update inventory logs.

• Operate machinery such asforklifts, skid loaders, and front-end loaders.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Top Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong troubleshooting skillsacross mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems (including 480V wiring).

• Welding and fabrication experienceis essential.

• Familiarity withsingle and three-phase motorsis a plus.

• Ability to use standardmeasuring toolssuch as micrometers, meters, and gauges.

• Must be safety-conscious and follow all safety protocols.

• Available foroccasional overtime, weekend work, and emergency repairs.
