**Position Summary:

**

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Plant General Operator to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient production flow, product quality, and workplace safety across multiple plant areas.

Operators will work with various manufacturing equipment and processes including mixing, extrusion, crushing, kilns, dryers, and mills while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:

**

• Operate plant machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production work orders
• Perform quality checks, collect samples, and record production data accurately
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues and assist in minor repairs
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
• Follow all safety procedures including PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and OSHA guidelines
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities
• Operate forklifts safely (if certified or willing to obtain certification)
• Support general plant operations including cleaning, restocking, and waste handling
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Work in multiple production areas as assigned

**Work Environment:

**

• Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to dust, heat, and seasonal temperature changes
• Work around heavy machinery and industrial equipment
• Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 55 lbs** **

**

**Work Schedule

**

• 36–48 hours per week (may vary based on business needs)
• Rotating shifts (must be flexible):
• Overtime may be required
