Reporting to the plant manager at our Quincy, MI manufacturing facility, local producer of Hebrew National products, you will manage our plant Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) programs to ensure operations minimize the impact upon the environment and provide a safe and accident-free work environment. You will lead and help develop a facility-wide EHS culture through technical support, program development, and collaboration across multiple departments. You will implement safety concepts to provide the road map to zero injuries and world class performance. Promote plant safety, environmental responsibility and sustainability stewardship by working with all departments to analyze current situation and recommend improvements.
Manage all aspects of environmental, health, safety and sustainable development programs
Direct environmental compliance and performance functions observing government regulations, corporate compliance guidelines and applicable environmental requirements
Implement environmental concepts and maintains documentation to complete all environmental reporting promptly and ensures ongoing environmental compliance.
Promote an accident-free work environment by developing programs that train, monitor and assure a safe workplace
Support accident investigations and prepare accident reports required by regulatory agencies
Analyze accident data to identify trends and accident types that can be prevented.
Administer initial Workers Compensation functions
Conduct inspections and audits in plant to detect existing or potential accident hazards and determine corrective or preventative measures
Oversee the Central Safety Committee through active participation and being a resource for each group
Determine and direct necessary compliance training for all individuals to assure OSHA, TOSHA, EPA and Conagra training requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or other relevant field
5 years of related industrial safety experience
5 years management experience or leading teams
Experience with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations
Experience working with State and Federal regulations
Experience writing regulatory reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Experience performing risk assessments

Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
