This role will oversee engineering, maintenance, facilities, and capital improvement initiatives within a fast-paced 24/7 production environment.

This position is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader with strong experience in manufacturing maintenance, equipment reliability, capital projects, and team development. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving plant performance, maximizing equipment uptime, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead plant engineering and maintenance functions while developing and mentoring the maintenance team
• Build and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability
• Manage capital improvement projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and startup
• Oversee facility systems, utilities, mobile equipment, and contractor/vendor relationships
• Support safety initiatives, OSHA compliance, and environmental programs
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives
• Develop maintenance procedures, SOPs, and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency

Ideal Background:

• 7+ years of engineering or maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing maintenance teams and leading plant improvement initiatives
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience with preventive maintenance, reliability programs, CMMS systems, and capital equipment projects
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, OSHA standards, and continuous improvement methodologies
