Position Summary 

 Allura USA is seeking a Plant Controller to support our fiber cement siding plant in Roaring River, North Carolina. We prefer a candidate based near the plant, but are also open to someone based in our Houston, Texas, corporate office. A Houston-based employee will travel to the Roaring River plant at least 25% of the time. Reporting to the CFO, this role leads plant accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls, and partners with plant and company leadership to guide decisions and improve performance.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee plant accounting, financial reporting, forecasts, budgets, and analysis; explain results, trends, and risks to leadership.
  • Maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance with company standards across plant transactions and processes.
  • Develop profit and loss measures and key performance indicators to support operational and financial decisions.
  • Partner with plant leadership on business planning, process improvements, and capital expenditure requests and controls.
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, and provide information for internal and external audits at the Roaring River facility.
  • Support special projects and help resolve financial or payment issues as needed.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
  • Minimum of five years of accounting or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and business principles, financial management, financial controls, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience with inventory accounting, work in process (WIP), and fixed asset management.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work safely in a plant environment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • If based in Houston, ability to travel to the Roaring River plant at least 25% of the time.
