The Scheduler position within the Automotive Supply Chain function plays a critical role in optimizing production flow and ensuring on-time delivery of glass parts to our customers. This role will work closely with various departments including Purchasing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to manage customer backorders and production capacity constraints.
Manage all customer interactions related to parts availability, including backorders, delays, and lead times.
Proactively communicate production challenges and manage customer expectations through scheduled calls, meetings, and inquiries.
Track and report on customer satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Purchasing) to ensure smooth production flow and efficient delivery of available parts.
Analyze production data to optimize scheduling processes, identify potential issues, and proactively address customer concerns.
Develop and maintain production schedules for automotive parts, considering customer demand, lead times, resource availability, and raw material forecasts.
**Educational requirements, Certifications: **
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline or equivalent
Preferred APICS/CPIM certification (American Production and Inventory Control Society - Certified Production & Inventory Management)
**Experience: **
3+ years of manufacturing or inventory management experience.
Experience with communicating with verifying levels within the organization.
Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles.
+2 Experience working with SAP.
