Mission

Ensure obtention and quality progress performance in the area of responsibility (BU or groups of BUs).

Monitor and apply standard methodologies in their area of responsibility.

Key encouraged achievements

For the area of responsibility (BU or groups of BUs):

  • Delivered products align with quality planning models and are manufactured in accordance with obtention standards. Sound MMW practices are applied.
  • Quality and efficiency performances align with goals defined by the shop. Right the first time principles are applied.
  • Customer risks, product compliance, and quality performance risks are anticipated. Actions to reduce risks are implemented.
  • All complaints, nonconformities, nonstandard situations, and performance shifts are handled appropriately. Efficiency of implemented actions is demonstrated.
  • Causes of anomalies and nonperformance are resolved and are input into the progress plan.
  • The Quality Obtention section of the Progress Plan has been completed. They contribute to its definition.
  • Help all operators develop essential job proficiencies (mentoring, training, etc.)

As a Pipeline-Quality Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and monitoring standard methodologies within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring that delivered products meet quality planning models and are manufactured according to obtention standards.
  • Collaborating with shop teams to achieve and exceed quality and efficiency performance goals.
  • Anticipating potential customer risks, product compliance issues, and quality performance risks, and implementing actions to mitigate these risks.
  • Addressing and resolving all complaints, nonconformities, nonstandard situations, and performance shifts, and showcasing the efficiency of implemented actions.
  • Investigating and resolving the causes of anomalies and nonperformance, incorporating these findings into the progress plan.
  • Completing the Quality Obtention section of the Progress Plan and contributing to its definition.
  • Providing mentoring and training to all operators to help them gain essential quality proficiencies.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor standard methodologies in manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve anomalies and nonperformance issues.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • A dedication to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding quality in all tasks.
  • The ability to successfully implement actions that reduce risks and improve product compliance and quality performance.
