Title: Pipeline Integrity Engineer
Location: Freeport, Texas

Salary: $113,000 - $150,000
Schedule: 4-10's
 

Focus: The Pipeline Integrity Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of pipeline systems throughout their entire lifecycle. This role is critical to preventing incidents, minimizing environmental impact, and supporting the safe and efficient transportation of products through pipeline infrastructure.

Pipeline Integrity Engineer Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and execute pipeline integrity management plans, including inspection, maintenance, and emergency response activities.
• Identify and assess integrity threats such as corrosion, cracking, third-party damage, and geohazards.
• Perform risk assessments to prioritize integrity activities and resources, with emphasis on High Consequence Areas (HCAs).
• Coordinate and implement integrity assessments, including in-line inspections (ILI), pressure testing, and direct assessments (DA).
• Analyze inspection data and conduct engineering evaluations to determine pipeline fitness-for-service and appropriate repair method.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state pipeline safety regulations (PHMSA) and maintain accurate, auditable integrity records.

Pipeline Integrity Engineer Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree* in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil/Structural Engineering; Bachelor's degree* in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in Pipeline Integrity Engineering to include inspection, risk assessment, prevention, design, corrosion control, and/or construction.
• Technical knowledge and work experience in pipeline risk management and analysis.
• Working knowledge of the various Federal and State pipeline regulations including Integrity Management regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
• Previous experience coordinating and implementing integrity assessments.
• Formal education in Pipeline Integrity (i.e. NACE Courses) is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP preferred. 
• This position requires successful vetting per FMCSA DOT for Pipeline Workers
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
