Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter/Pipe welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pipe threading assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems used in various industries, such as construction, manufacturing, and energy.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of piping systems
- Measure and cut pipes to required lengths using tools such as calipers
- Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipes
- Perform pipe threading and soldering tasks
- Build pipe supports and hangers as necessary
- Conduct rigging operations for pipe installation
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks or defects
Experience:
- Proven experience in pipefitting, including the ability to fabricate and assemble pipes
- Proficiency in stick, mig and Tig for the welding.
- Familiarity with using power tools for cutting, shaping, and drilling pipes
- Strong knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
