About the Role
Step into a high-impact position where your expertise in pipe welding directly supports the U.S. Navy’s future. You’ll join a team of top professionals working on state-of-the-art ships—your craftsmanship will be at the heart of critical mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Weld stainless steel and copper-nickel piping using TIG/GTAW (your primary tool)
- Apply SMAW and FCAW processes as needed
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
- Support ship construction in dynamic environments—sometimes at heights or in confined spaces
- Maintain industry-leading safety standards
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on pipe welding experience (TIG/GTAW focused)
- Proficient in stainless steel and copper-nickel welding
- Comfortable working in shipyard settings with diverse conditions
- Strong attention to quality and detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SMAW and FCAW
- Familiarity with interpreting complex technical drawings
- Background in shipyard or naval architecture environments
