Hours: 5am-5:30pm Monday–Friday, & 8hr shift on Saturday

Location: Catoosa, OK 74015

Weld Test: Open Root 3G MIG/Flux core (fill & cap) & 6G TIG root with Flux core fill & cap on 2” Schedule 160 pipe

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join a leading manufacturer in the oil, gas, and energy industries. This role is responsible for setting up and operating advanced welding equipment, producing high-quality welds, and ensuring all work meets strict specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to safety and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust advanced welding equipment
• Perform high-quality welds in accordance with specifications and procedures
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary machine adjustments
• Minimize scrap, rework, and downtime through efficient work practices
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Maintain accurate production tracking and meet performance standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of TIG pipe welding experience

• Ability to pass the following weld tests:- Open Root 3G MIG/Flux core (fill & cap)

  • 6G TIG root with Flux core fill & cap on 2” Schedule 160 pipe

• Ability to pass visual inspection prior to weld testing

• Knowledge of AWS/ANSI welding standards (or ability to obtain certification)

• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions

• Understanding of welding parameters (voltage, amperage adjustments)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure

• Basic computer/data entry skills
