Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our dynamic team in Biloxi, MS. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the fabrication and installation of piping systems in various platforms of maritime vessals across various projects. Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on various types of pipes, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, preferably in the maritime or shipbuilding industry.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred.
