** 2nd,Shift – Monday–Friday 1:30 PM –1:00 PM. Will Train on 1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Tester for our client close to Decatur,¨NBSP;AL. You will perform a variety of operational functions in various types of weld preparation, welding as and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings and specifications. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading automotive manufacturer while building your long-term career.
Responsibilities
.
Must have some welding knowledge.
Must be able to perform visual inspection using basic measuring tools.
Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
Must have attention to detail will be testing pipes and looking for leaks.
Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing
Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties
Minimum some welding Knowledge
Ability to perform essential duties
High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school.
Must accurately read tape measure (assessment given).
Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work occasional overtime.
Steel-toed boots required.
Must pass background & drug screening.
Schedule & Pay
**Shift:
** 2nd,Shift – Monday–Friday 1:30 PM –1:00 PM. Will Train on 1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM
**Pay:
** $19.03-20.00
