Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Mirror Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in welding, particularly with boiler tubes. This role involves working on-site to ensure the integrity and functionality of various boiler systems. The Pipe Mirror Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welds while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on boiler tubes using mirror welding techniques.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems related to boiler operations.
• Collaborate with field service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform necessary maintenance.
• Document work performed, including any issues encountered and resolutions implemented.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.

Skills

• Must have experience working in power plants
• Proficient in welding techniques, specifically for boiler tube applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and the maintenance of hydraulic systems.
• Excellent customer service skills, ensuring effective communication with clients.
• Experience in field service roles, demonstrating adaptability to various work environments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Tests that must be passed

• Weld test -2” 6G monster Coupon -Tig Root and Hot /Stick fill and cap
• Weld test -2” 2G restricted mirror weld test -All Tig
• Weld Test-2” Sch 40 304 SS -All Tig

Salary & Schedule

• $32 - $36 per hr DOE
• Per diem of $90 daily
• First shift
• Must be available to work other shifts
