Fabrication Associate - Groveport, OH
Pay: $20.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays and overtime available
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Fabrication Associate for a leading industrial supply company. This is a hands-on role for candidates with manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, or industrial experience.
What You'll Do
- Move and organize pipe throughout the shop and yard
- Assemble customer pipe orders
- Operate forklifts and fabrication equipment
- Measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipe
- Perform quality inspections using tape measures and gauges
- Follow safety, production, and shipping procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED
6-8 months of recent manufacturing, fabrication, or machinery experience
Experience with equipment such as:- Band saws
- Pipe threaders
- Automatic welding machines
- Plasma cutting equipment
- Roll groove machines
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Experience using gauges for quality checks
3-6 months of forklift experience
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to safety and quality
Ability to lift, move, and handle pipe materials
Preferred Backgrounds
