**What You'll Be Doing
**
This is an active, physically demanding role. You'll be on your feet and moving throughout the workday as you assemble and install piping systems on large industrial equipment.
A significant part of the job involves aligning, bolting and torquing pipe flange connections. This requires repetitive use of hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and other torquing equipment, along with grip strength, upper-body strength and the ability to work in different positions throughout the build.
Your work will include:
Assemble and install pipe spools, flanges, valves, fittings, tubing and supports
Align, bolt and torque flange connections to required specifications
Use hand, power and torquing tools safely and accurately
Measure, align, fit and position piping components
Move around and work on different areas of large equipment builds
Read and follow work instructions, specifications and project requirements
Inspect your work for proper fit, alignment, torque and quality
Gather and organize materials and tools needed for each stage of the build
Work alongside fabrication, assembly and other skilled trades team members
Follow established safety procedures and maintain an organized work area

**What We're Looking For
**
**
Experience with piping, flanges, valves, fittings or mechanical assemblies
Experience with flange bolting and torquing preferred, but transferable mechanical experience will be considered
Comfortable performing repetitive bolting, torquing and tool work
Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools
Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
Able to regularly lift and carry up to 75 lbs., with occasional assisted lifting of up to 200 lbs.
Comfortable bending, reaching, kneeling, standing and working in different positions
Strong attention to quality, measurements and safety
Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work overtime when needed
