DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and assign job responsibilities to all department personnel as directed by the department supervisor. Ensure all team members arrive on time, take scheduled breaks or lunches as required and stay within the scheduled time frames.
Train team members on proper procedures as directed by the department supervisor. Verifying all processes are performed accurately and to ensure completeness of the job.
Report and help resolve any quality infractions accurate accounting of inventory and resolution of discrepancies.
Follow appropriate safety procedures and ensure all department personnel use proper personal protective equipment, belts and harnesses.
Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel. Maintains vehicle maintenance report.
Coordinates movement of staged orders to maximize shipping process flow.
Assist with studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the required qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma and 1 year certificate from college or technical school
1-2 years related experience and/or training
