InnovaFlex is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Photolithography Process Engineer to join our world-class Fab team. In this role, you will own and drive photolithography process performance across stepper exposure, resist coat/develop, and low-k dielectric coat operations. You will play a pivotal role to ensure process stability through rigorous statistical process control (SPC), mentor and develop a team of skilled technicians, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver industry-leading yield and cycle time results.

The Photolithography Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports new product introductions, and ensures process stability, quality, and compliance with operational standards.

The Photolithography Process Engineer works closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Equipment Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve throughput, reduce waste, enhance product quality, and support operational excellence initiatives across the manufacturing facility.

Essential Functions: 

Process, Equipment, and Manufacturing Development

  • Develops and modifies processes, equipment, product flows, and test flows as applicable to: 
    • Extend and enable new and novel product introduction
    • Achieve customer-driven product revisions and performance enhancements
    • Achieve internally driven yield, throughput and cost goals
  • Provides engineering support for high-volume manufacturing, including troubleshooting and resolving process and equipment-related issues

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Product Qualification

  • Collaborates with Process Integration and Business Development teams to support new product introductions (NPIs)
  • Verifies that new products meet all product specifications and applies appropriate process flows to ensure conformance to customer requirements
  • Updates and maintains all product and/or equipment specification documentation for NPI projects

Quality, Yield, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)

  • Owns product SPC as applicable to maintain healthy CpK
  • Utilizes statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze and improve product quality
  • Works with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce manufacturing costs, and increase product yield

Technical Problem Solving & Manufacturing Support

  • Supports and assists in problem solving for Fab and Test areas
  • Engages in highly technical development and problem-solving activities
  • Takes a leadership role in writing technical documentation, papers, and/or patents as applicable

Documentation & Compliance

  • Develops and maintains detailed process and equipment documentation
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures and promptly reports hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents, or injuries


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field preferred

Experience*:

  • 5 – 9 years direct process experience in semiconductor, display, solar, or advanced manufacturing equipment engineering preferred

License or certification:

  • N/A

Compensation:

  • Annual Salary: $87,341 - $152,247 depending on experience
  • Targeted Annual Bonus: 15% (prorated based on date of hire)

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment
