Job Overview:

Summary
This role manages daily activities in the Front End and Phos Acid plants in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Accountable to maximize operational efficiencies and to ensure the safety of all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed in a consistent manner.
- Conduct formal safety meetings.
- Provide leadership and direction for 12-hour rotation crew.
- Prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Schedule work assignments and overtime.
- Participate in company safety awareness program.
- Ensure safety and environmental events are documented, communicated, and investigated.
- Responsible for employee development and training.
- Communicate and support organizational changes.
- Work with other departments to minimize overall impact to plant operations.
Typical Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Relevant Experience
- 3+ years related experience and/or training
- Chemical plant experience.
- Knowledge of chemical processing equipment and control systems.
Other Information
- Strong leadership skills.
- Well organized.
- Proficient in computer use; word processing and spreadsheets.
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in an office and plant environment
