PCBA Assembly Technician (Printed Circuit Board Assembly)
KZ Valve, LLC – Greenwood, NE
Summary:
PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) Assembly Technicians have a specialized role in the manufacturing and assembly of a PCBA which includes but is not limited to soldering, assembly, and testing. They maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations, allowing them to safely operate equipment and use resources appropriately. PCBA Assemblers aim to be as efficient and consistent as possible when putting together a product.
Responsibilities:
• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
• Follow company procedures and directives.
• Maintain efficiency standards.
• Assist in improvement projects and teams as assigned.
• Use of hand / power tools and equipment.
• Test finished products for defects.
• Basic computer operations.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
• Ability to read prints
• Ability to use hand tools
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time
• Other duties as assigned. When technicians are not required to do soldering work, they are expected to perform regular assembly functions.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Multiple years of through-hole soldering experience preferred.
• IPC-A-610 Certified Desired
o IPC-A-610 Class II Certified Preferred
o In lieu of certification, significant experience through-hole soldering will be considered.
• Experience as a Soldering Lead or Trainer preferred.

Position Details:

· Full-Time, non-exempt position
· 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday 10hrs or 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Tuesday-Friday 10hrs
· This position requires flexibility to work on varying schedules, including overtime to meet business needs.
· Position reports to the Production Manager
