**Job Title: Patient Access Representative / Patient Services Representative

Work Location: Los Angeles, CA 90048

Duration: 13 Weeks / 3 Months

Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours

Hours: 8 hours between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM**

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans.
At least 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting.
Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for patients in person and by phone.
Greet patients, address concerns, and escalate issues when appropriate.
Check patients in and out, collect co-payments, provide receipts, and reconcile payments.
Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic.
Schedule appointments and complete patient registration.
Process and track referrals and insurance authorizations.
Handle patient and provider correspondence.
Explain policies, procedures, and available services to patients.
Maintain and sanitize the workspace according to department guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have recent outpatient or medical office experience, strong patient-facing and communication skills, and familiarity with insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, and patient registration. Experience with CS-Link/Epic and medical terminology is highly preferred.
