Parts Warehouse Shipping & Receiving

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc. is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Allentown, PA, branch location.  We are looking for a Warehouse Associate with experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer parts or a related industry.

 Responsibilities include:

• Perform Receiving tasks, unload, unpack, examine, sort, and put away inventory, reject damaged items, record shortages/overages and correspond with shipper to rectify changes.
• Accurately and efficiently pull and package customer orders.
• Perform Shipping tasks, determine methods of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates; affix shipping labels and/or other records on packaged carton.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Forklift experience or willing to learn to drive a Forklift a plus.
• Candidate must be comfortable with lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Adherence to Company safety program.
• Other tasks as assigned.

 Requirements:

• Preferred candidate has at least one year experience, but willing train qualified candidate.
• Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Must present a professional, positive, results-oriented, problem-solving attitude.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and multi-task.
• Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to provide references.
