Lennox operates in two segments across North America: Home Comfort Solutions and Building Climate Solutions.

 

Home Comfort Solutions (HCS): A $3.6B segment that manufacturers and markets a broad range of home heating and cooling equipment for both the residential replacement and new construction markets in North America. Its product lines – extending from the entry level market segment to the premium high efficiency market segment – include air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, packaged heating and cooling systems, HVAC parts and accessories.  HCS manufacturing facilities are located in Marshalltown, Iowa; Orangeburg, South Carolina; Grenada, Mississippi; and Saltillo, Mexico.

 

Building Climate Solutions (BCS): A $1.8B segment that provides indoor comfort solutions for low-rise office buildings, restaurants, retail establishments, distribution centers, schools, and other light commercial applications, as well as commercial refrigeration solutions to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses, and distribution centers in North America.  Our HVAC service business focuses on full protection, preventive maintenance, planned replacement, installation, and recycling for schools, restaurants, and retail establishments on a national basis. HVAC products include packaged rooftop units, split systems, VRF and indoor air quality systems. Commercial refrigeration products include unit coolers, condensing units and compressorized racks. BCS manufacturing facilities are located in Stuttgart, Arkansas; Tifton, Georgia; Stone Mountain, Georgia, Tallassee, Alabama; Weatherford, Texas; Wheeling, West Virginia; Reno, Nevada; and Saltillo, Mexico.

In addition to the Richardson, Texas, corporate headquarters, additional research and development services and back-office functions are performed in Carrollton, Texas and Chennai, India.

 

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Key Responsibilities

 

The Parts Director will be responsible for developing and executing the parts strategy for the Lennox Commercial HVAC business. The Commercial parts business today is roughly $115M annually and we expect it to double in the next three years. We are looking for a proven domain leader who can unlock that growth and elevate our customer experience with best-in-class availability and lead times.

This is an ideal opportunity for a high-performing leader to own a P&L, collaborate closely with customers, operations, and suppliers, and work cross-functionally across Lennox Commercial HVAC and the entire Company. It is an ideal fit for someone to make a measurable impact while gaining broad exposure and advancing their leadership journey.

Skills and Competencies

The Parts Director should possess the following key skills and competencies:

  • Deep Understanding of Aftermarket and Parts Ecosystem: Brings experience in aftermarket parts strategies, pricing, and customer service models—especially in B2B industrial or commercial settings.
  • General Manager Mindset: Thinks holistically about the parts business as a standalone P&L—prioritizes high-impact levers, pursues profitable growth, and acts with long-term ownership.
  • Customer-Centric, Commercial Orientation: Always considers the impact on end customers; balances operational efficiency with service quality and responsiveness.
  • Financial and Analytical Acumen: Uses data to prioritize initiatives and make trade-offs; understands the financial drivers of the parts business and can translate strategy into ROI-focused decisions.
  • Enterprise Collaborator with Strong EQ: Builds trust and navigates relationships across the broader Lennox organization; able to manage conflict diplomatically and work effectively across functions and hierarchies.
  • Operational and Process Excellence: Skilled in designing and improving operational workflows, with an eye toward efficiency, scalability, and alignment with customer needs.
  • SIOP and Inventory Management Expertise: Understands Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning processes; capable of driving improvements in inventory strategy, demand forecasting, and fill rate performance.
  • Change Agent and Builder: Comfortable in ambiguity and able to build new capabilities from the ground up, whether related to tools, processes, or teams.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Experience / Qualifications / Education

 

The ideal candidate will be someone with 10+ years of experience and a successful track record in driving business solutions / results. This candidate must be self-motivated, resourceful and entrepreneurial - a visionary leader demonstrating the willingness for continuous learning and improvement. 

 

A successful track record of effectively resolving customer related issues, improving processes, and raising efficiency through lean methodology, including hands on participation in value stream mapping, voice of the customer, kaizen leadership, continuous flow, and 5S is strongly desired.

 

An undergraduate degree, preferably in supply chain, business, or finance is required, and an MBA or equivalent business / advanced degree is preferred.

 

 

This role is based in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
