**Summary:
**
The Parts Associate is responsible for efficiently managing the procurement and distribution of heavy‑duty equipment, diesel engine, and hydraulic component parts to support both outside sales and internal repair operations. This role includes receiving, placing, and fulfilling parts orders in a timely manner and ensuring that required parts are readily available to mechanics to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities

Order, receive, and distribute parts for heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems
Support internal service team and outside parts sales
Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and parts lists using Excel
Track inventory and ensure accuracy in company systems
Ensure timely availability of parts to minimize repair delays
Maintain accurate documentation of all parts ordered and received
Distribute parts to mechanics and assign to correct equipment in system
Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
**Qualifications
**
**
**
Experience with parts (automotive, truck, or equipment) required
Knowledge of commercial trucks, diesel, or related equipment preferred
Experience with bill of materials, inventory systems, or warehouse software a plus
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
Ability to learn systems such as M3 ERP software
**Education & Experience:
**
High school diploma or equivalent.
Parts and service or related experience required.
Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office Suite) and inventory software.
