Schedule: This position is on 12 hour shifts with a 3-2-2 rotating schedule. Night Shift 6:00pm-6:00am

Pay: $36+/ with experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, operate, maintain, and repair plant utility systems and equipment.
• Monitor and record system performance and make adjustments to assure the safe and efficient operation of plant utility systems and equipment.
• Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations, plant engineering, suppliers, and other associates to improve equipment reliability.
• Utilize the company’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supports its use as a key management information tool.
• Recommend, develop, and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals.
• Provide direction and training for less skilled maintenance personnel and machine operators.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
• Must be willing to work holidays if scheduled
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• 2 years of work experience in mechanical and electrical systems as well as specific training in ammonia refrigeration and industrial boiler operation is critical to the success of the Industrial Utilities Technician. (A combination of experience and/or training at an accredited technical school will be given consideration.)
• This position requires technical writing and verbal communications skills and the ability to read and work from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical manuals, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and control schematics. 
• Must have the ability to learn and effectively use various software programs including the company’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and various building management systems.
